Responding to an invitation from current and former members of the Italian Parliament, Maharaji addresses an audience of senators, deputies,diplomats, and government officials at the Conference Hall of the Italian Parliament in Rome. Introduced by President Colombo, former president of the European Parliament and former prime minister of Italy, Maharaji talks about the world we live in filled with divisions and labels and the human yearning for peace that crosses all barriers and defies all labels. He reminds people that the simplest things, like gratitude for life, are important because they are "the only way you can balance a simple breath, on one hand, and disproportionate problems on the other."
